Ryan Denney is fully recovered and been given clearance to workout after having a second surgery on his broken foot late last season. He had a new better screw inserted and feels great. He's in good shape and will ease back into working out on the foot. He should be good to go at the beginning of the organized team activities.
Jason Peters had surgery on January 23rd to repair a sports hernia. The surgery was successful and he is expected to make a full recovery for next season. Peters missed the season finale with a groin injury that bothered him much of the 2nd half of the season.
Chris Kelsay had surgery on the ankle that bothered him most of the 2nd half of the season. He got rid of the cast in two weeks and is using an immobolizer boot. He is doing light weight work and the ankle feels pretty good with good range of motion but still having some swelling. It is expected to be like a new ankle when fully healed. He is doing rehab work and strengthening the ankle at the team facilities during the team's offseason workouts.
Ko Simpson fractured his ankle on opening day of the 2007 season. He has recovered from surgery and is nearly 100%. He is doing rehab work and passed the end of the season physical. He is still waiting for some tendon clean up work to heal.
Bryan Scott got his knee scoped but should be good to go for the coming season.
Robert Royal had his knee scoped on January 17th. He's expected to be fine for the coming season.
Angelo Crowell had surgery for a triceps injury. It was considered a minor procedure and he should be fine for this coming season.
Lee Evans had surgery on his shoulder. It was described as a cleanup procedure. It has given him discomfort for the past two years.
Josh Reed had surgery on his back. It was giving him problems for most of the 2nd half of the 2007 season. The procedure is considered minor and says he's feeling good as he eases back into shape during the offseason conditioning program.
Matt Murphy had his season end early after he tore a calf muscle.
Derek Schouman should be fine for the 2008 season after missing most of the 2nd half of the season with a high ankle sprain.
Kevin Everett continues to recover from his cervical spine injury suffered against Denver. He underwent emergency surgery to repair a break in between the 3rd and 4th veterbrae. He is now back home and entering the next stage in his rehabilitation. He is now walking unassisted but without a full stride yet.
