Week 3: Bills vs. Broncos
at
Sunday, Sept. 24th
1:00pm ET
The Bills head back home to take on red hot Trevor Siemian and the Denver Broncos. The Bills had a tough time against the Panthers defense last week now they have even a tougher task against the Orange Crush defense. At least this one is at home as the Bills look for answers on offense.

INJURY UPDATE

The Bills may be without Marcell Dareus who has an ankle injury and Cody Glenn who now has an injury to his other foot. Shaq Lawson is having a nerve issue in his foot but should be ready to go.

The Broncos will be without their blindside protector as starting left tackle Garett Boles suffered a high ankle sprain in the win over Dallas on Sunday. WR Demaryius Thomas has been limited in practice this week with a hamstring injury. WR Bennie Fowler III (Concussion), CBs Brendan Langley (Knee) and Bradley Robey (Ankle) have missed practice time this week as well.

Check out our Bills Daily Injury Page throughout the week for the latest updates on the injured players.

KEY MATCHUPS

RB LeSean McCoy vs. LB Brandon Marshall:
McCoy looks for a bounce back game and he has to watch out for the Broncos leading tackler in Marshall.

LT Dion Dawkins vs. LB Von Miller:
Glenn is likely going to miss this game so the rookie Dawkins will have to lineup against one of the premier defensive players in the game in Miller.

DE Jerry Hughes vs. LT Donald Stephenson:
With Bolles out this week Hughes has to be licking his chops to go up against his backup. Stephenson is a six year vet but Hughes is coming off a two sack effor in Carolina.

LB Ramon Humber vs. RB C.J. Anderson:
Humber has been real solid in run defense in his first two starts while Anderson is averaging 100 yards a game making this a good battle to watch.

KEYS TO THE GAME

1. Get Passing Game Going: Sean McDermott told the media on Wednesday that the receivers need to win the one on one battles. They have to do so this week to get the passing game going and make the team mulit-dimensional.

2. Keep Up Defensive Pressure: The defense did a fantastic job last week against Cam Newton. If they can get the same type of pressure on Siemian then they have a chance to win.

3. Take The Ball Away: Repeating the defensive performance from last week is good but not good enough. The offense is struggling and the defense needs to help them out by taking the ball away from the Broncos.

BILLS DAILY PREDICTION

This will be another tough task for the Bills but their defense is good enough to give them a chance on any given Sunday. The Bronocs may be busy reading their press clippings and come out a little flat. If that is the case then I think the Bills may pull off the upset:
Bills 16, Broncos 13

Season Prediction Record: (2-0)
Season Record Against The Spread: (1-0-1)
