Sunday, Oct. 2nd

The Bills look to keep up the momentum of last week's win with a big matchup against the Patriots. It will be interesting to see who plays quarterback for New England with Jacoby Brissett and Jimmy Garoppolo coming off injuries. The one person we are sure not to see is Tom Brady who serves the last game of his suspension.

INJURY UPDATE

The Bills may be without Sammy Watkins again as he has missed practice time again with his surgically repaired foot. It looks like they will get Cordy Glenn back which is good news considering his backup Cyrus Kouandjio now has an ankle injury. They hope to get Ronald Darby back after missing a game with a hamstring injury. Backup center Patrick Lewis is sidelined with a knee injury this week.

The Patriots are battling major quarterback issues with Brissett and Garoppolo trying to come back from a thumb and shoulder injury respectively to their throwing arms. Rob Gronkowski is back from his hamstring injury but is still limited in practice.

KEY MATCHUPS

RB LeSean McCoy vs. Bill Belichick:
The great Patriots coach is known for taking away a team's top weapon. McCoy is the Bills top weapon.

LBs Preston Brown and Zach Brown vs. RB LeGarrette Blount:
With the QB situation in flux, Blount has been the main man of the Patriots offense with 298 yards through three games. The two Browns in the middle of the Bills defense have been tackling machines.

DE Jerry Hughes vs. RT Marcus Cannon:
Hughes has been a monster in the Bills defense and will lineup against the 6 year veteran.

LT Cordy Glenn vs. DE Jabaal Sheard:
Glenn is coming back from a recurring ankle injury. Sheard leads the Patriots with two sacks on the season.

KEYS TO THE GAME

1. Get Passing Game Going: It has been a rough start to the season for the Bills passing game. With Belichick likely to take McCoy away the passing game needs to succeed this week.

2. Play Disciplined Football: Penalties continue to be a problem for this team. They can't continue to hurt themselves knowing the Patriots will take advantage of any mental mistakes they make.

3. Pressure & Contain QB: No matter who plays quarterback they need to put pressure on him and contain him in the pocket so he doesn't make plays with his feet. Force the banged up passer to throw under pressure.

BILLS DAILY PREDICTION
