Bills Daily 2015 Bills Seven Round Mock Draft

For the 16th year in a row, Bills Daily tries to predict who the Bills will draft. Obviously these are just our best guesses along with some wishful thinking and we give you alternate picks in the early rounds if the players they want are gone already. This is a tough job to begin with made tougher by the fact the Bills don't have a first round pick this year thanks to the Sammy Watkins deal. This mock does not take potential trades into consideration. If you want to do more research check our draft links.

Please e-mail us with your comments on our projections.

ROUND/PICK PREDICTION/ANALYSIS
2-18 ( #50 overall)   OT Jake Fisher - Oregon The one main weakness besides quarterback is the offensive line where the team needs another starter and should look for one with their top pick in the draft. Fortunately it is a deep class at tackle and guard. Fisher would step right in probably at right tackle moving Seantrell Henderson to the left side and Cordy Glenn inside to guard. If he's gone they may look to snag the top guard in the draft if Duke's Laken Tomlinson is available. He could stop right in on the inside and they can leave Glenn and Henderson on the outside. Florida State's Tre Jackson or South Carolina's A.J. Cann are also options in the second round at guard.
3-17 ( #81 overall)    QB Garrett Grayson - Colorado St. I subscribe to the theory that when you don't have a franchise quarterback you need to draft one every year until you find one. Grayson played in a pro set offense and is considered the most game ready of the QBs in the draft. He has a lot of talent but did not play in one of the top conferences. If he's gone they may look to add Oregon State QB Sean Mannion who was talked about very highly by Doug Whaley.
5-19 (#155 overall)    TE Wes Saxton - South Alabama The Bills have indicated that they will have no problem keeping four tight ends on the roster and play two or three at a time. Saxton is a speedster that would be a good complement to Charles Clay as a true receiver option from the tight end spot. Massachusettes tight end Jean Sifrin is a 27 year old option but he may have growing pains at the position.
6-12 (#188 overall)    S Anthony Jefferson - UCLA The Bills can use some depth at safety especially since they will likely look to play three of them at times. Jefferson would be solid value this late in the draft to challenge for a roster spot.
6-18 (#194 overall)    CB Craig Mager - Texas St. University You can never have too many corners so taking one late in the draft will be valuable as an extra body in camp and possible long term developmental prospect.
7-17 (#234 overall)    P Kyle Loomis - Portland St. He may be the only punter drafted and could give Colton Schmidt some competition at the punter spot.
