Week 5
Jaguars  26
Bills  36
The Skinny:
Mercedes Lewis caught two touchdown passes as the Jaguars came from 10 points down to defeat the Bills 36-26 in front of a non sellout crowd at Ralph Wilson Stadium. The Bills forced three turnovers in the first half and opened up a 13-3 second quarter lead before the Jaguars came from behind to take control of a tied game after half time. The Bills came out of the game without any new injuries but they went to 0-5 for the first time since 1985. They also gave up 30 or more points in four straight games for the first time in team history.

The Turning Point:
The Bills were holding on to a 10-3 lead and driving for a score that would maybe give them an insurmountable lead. They had a second and goal at the one yard line. A Demetrius Bell holding penalty put the Bills back to the 11 and they never got into the end zone as they were held to a field goal and a 10 point lead that they couldn't hold on to.

The Big Drive:
Down by a touchdown Jacksonville drove 85 yards in 10 plays to a tying touchdown before halftime. The drive gave them control of the game. They would use the momentum to drive down and score on the opening possession of the second half to take the lead for the first time in the game.

Stat of the Game:
The Bills gave up over 200 yards rushing again. The Jags had 216 in this game.

What You Don't See On The Stat Sheet:
The Bills had four penalties in the red zone on offense.

Quick Slants:
- The Bills have now allowed over 30 points in four straight games. The never have done that in their history.
- They came out in the 4-3 defense to try and stop the run to no avail.
- The Bills are 0-5 for the first time since 1985.

My Take:
Not much to say. They are now 0-5 and once again proved that they are the worst team in the NFL. It was so bad that for the first time in years I won't be doing my positonal grades. It is a week to give that a rest. We all need to take a rest with the bye week ahead.

What's Ahead:
The bye week is thankfully here. It will be a nice time to relax and watch real NFL teams take to the field. Hopefully, the Bills will use the time to re-evaluate the entire operation.
